Shipping & Delivery
As part of our ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility we strive to use sustainable and recyclable packaging and packing materials. Our airbag packing products all use biodegradable plastics. Simply use a knife and cut through airbags prior to disposal and then place in your recycle bin. All incoming cardboard, polystyrene and plastic products to our facility are compressed and baled to be collected to be ethically recycled or disposed of under ethical waste transfer guidelines.
Shipping & Delivery Service
At the Limehouse Lamp Company we like to make the shipping & delivery process as simple as possible. We offer fixed cost on all orders under £300 of £21.60 (Inc. vat) for tracked carrier next day service. All orders over £300 will be delivered free of charge within mainland (UK)
In the instance of returns, if the circumstance is due to a fault or issue with an item we will arrange a collection within a 5-day period by arrangement and replacement within a specified period once goods have been returned and inspected. A goods returns note must be requested for returned goods to be managed in accordance with our warranty policy. In the instance of an incorrect order by customer fault we will charge a collection fee of £21.60 (Inc. vat) and 20% restocking fee due to the custom-made nature of our products.
How Long Do Deliveries Take?
Typically, an order for our handmade collections are between 2 and 5 weeks to dispatch. Limehouse 1900 collections typically 3 to 5 days to dispatch – unless specifically agreed by arrangement with The Limehouse Lamp Company’s customer service team 00(44) 1273 497070 or email@example.com. Items will need to be signed for on delivery. other arrangements can be made, but these would have to be at the customer’s risk. Please note that any items received damaged must be raised with The Limehouse Lamp Company within 5 working days of receipt and prior to installation. Please note that whilst we endeavour to ensure that our carrier service provider delivers goods according to schedule, we cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or cost resulting from the late delivery of goods. We strongly advise that you do NOT book trades people for installation until your goods have arrived and inspected.
How Much Are (Non-Mainland UK) Deliveries?
Non-Mainland (UK) Retail Orders
Fixed price tariff is available for retail orders to the following regions:
Northern Ireland: £30.00.
France, Benelux, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Channel Islands (fixed percentage): 14% of the value of the total order.
Italy (fixed percentage): 15% of the value of the total order.
Delivery to non-mainland UK is by tracked economy service courier (unless otherwise specified).
We offer delivery to all countries worldwide and these are usually quoted at time of packing to ensure the best rate and charged prior to dispatch. We try and keep these as low as possible. If you want delivery outside of Europe then please do send us an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we can get a quote for you. Please note all our lighting is wired for under British and European Standards. If you require specification for alternative regions e.g. UL – CSA requirements this will need to be specified and ordered and ordered directly or from your local region.
Note: Any goods that are being sent forward from a designated direct delivery address from the Limehouse Lamp Company must be checked and any damages raised with The Limehouse Lamp Company within 5 working days and prior to shipping forward. The Limehouse Lamp Company cannot accept liability for damages once shipped on by the customer.
